WSP | Golder has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Management Division in BC & Yukon.
You would be joining our growing hydrogeology team on a full-time basis based in the Lower Mainland, BC.Hydrogeological work may include:
- Conducting site investigations, such as:
- Installing monitoring wells, pumping wells, and vibrating wire piezometers;
- Groundwater sampling;
- Undertaking hydrogeological test work (slug tests, pumping tests, infiltration testing and packer testing).
- Data compilation, analysis and interpretation;
- Collecting hydrogeological, geotechnical and contaminant information from drilling operations;
- Conducting seepage analysis and assessing groundwater inflows related to infrastructure and mining;
- Reporting to support environmental impact assessments, feasibility studies, water supply assessments, water management, and contaminated sites assessments;
- We place a strong emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet our Client's needs, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence and reporting.
