Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
We are seeking an experienced Sales Specialist who can demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player but also work independently, managing a given territory primarily focused on Quebec with potential oversight of Atlantic Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an existing account base as well as prospecting and developing new business within the territory.
Requirements:
- Maintain strong business relationships with current customers in conjunction with prospecting new customers in the assigned territory demonstrating consistent growth in line with monthly and annual targets
- Collect information within the territory on both local markets and competitors prepare and present analysis at sales meetings
- Maintain a consistent schedule for the territory performing regular customer visits along with timely follow-up calls on all customers
- Collect customer information research analyze and deliver solution sets to customers via clear written proposals/quotations for current prospective customers
- Participate in trade shows conventions company events
- Maintain accurate records of all sales prospecting activities enabling easy follow up
