Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for a full-time Administrator/Receptionist.


Position summary:


As the Administrator/Receptionist, you are the face of our facility to our patients and physicians you have excellent interpersonal skills, and portray a welcoming and professional approach when dealing with patients, co-workers, physicians and the general public.

This position is responsible and accountable for providing direct support to the administrative team and the surgical and PACU staff to facilitate the smooth processing of patients.


Responsibilities include:

Overall pre-surgical processing of patients, including but not limited to OHIP, WSIB and Private patients


This includes:

  • Answering and directing incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Coordination and processing patient information received from surgeon's offices including closing of patient files following surgery.
  • Patient file input and preparation
  • Mail / courier processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized office, patient waiting and examination space.
  • Bank deposits
  • Create and maintain inventory of office supplies, including restocking of supplies in examination rooms
  • Set up and Input of new physicians and surgeons

Qualifications:


  • Strong background in reception and phone management
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be well organized and be able to multitask while working under mínimal supervision
  • Must be fluent in written and verbal English, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
  • 23 yrs previous experience in a medical facility would be preferred.
  • Postsecondary education in medical office administration, communications or administration
  • Must be proactive, cooperative, provide input and support to a high performing team.

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
