We are seeking:


Digital Solutions and Support (DS&S), Project Manager
**Permanent Full-Time

  • Hybrid Role**
    What will be your role?

Key Areas of Accountability:


  • Managing project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules.
  • Managing the software development cycle from planning, development, rigorous testing through to releasing.
  • Managing discussions and achieving consensus among various project stakeholders, including VHA's Client Services and Best Practice and Research & Evaluation (BPRE) teams.
  • Monitoring risks and developing project risk mitigation strategies as required.
  • Monitoring project outcomes and providing analysis on benefits achieved.
  • Ability to maintain confidential client information.
  • Managing change management (incl. training, communication, evaluation) activities to support the rollout and sustainability.
  • Supports safe client care through the development of knowledge and skills in accordance with our principles of continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related health care discipline from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in leading projects, preferably in the healthrelated sector.
  • Project experience establishing and delivering projects within a large system and/or organization.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, preferred.
  • PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, Certified preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to promote a culture of collaboration.
  • Excellent project management skills, utilizing project planning techniques and project planning tools and templates, e.g., scope statements, project plan, work breakdown structures, lessonslearned, status reports, Gantt charts, critical path analysis, etc.
  • Proactively identifies project risks and recommend solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in developing collaborative plans with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict.
  • Ability to support and motivate a crossfunctional project team to deliver change with a focus on benefits realization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
