    Element5 is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Supply Chain team in St. Thomas.

    The Supply Chain Administrator will provide support in various capacities to both the Supply Chain and Operations teams, either directly or indirectly. Tasks within this role may vary, ranging from independent assignments to those requiring team guidance. Precision and efficient time management are paramount, as many responsibilities directly contribute to daily floor operations. This position involves hands-on work on the floor and will interface with both supervisors and peers.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • MRO/Non-Inventory Purchasing: Converting of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders within the ERP system following the fiscal approval policy. Interface with suppliers, provide status updates and interface on topics in relation to order support and placement. Sourcing of MRO materials
    • Receiving/Shipping: Validate supplier documentation, enter Receipts into the ERP system in accordance with the documented process. Highlight damage/scrap/safety concerns, ensure proper put away practice is followed. Ensure Lot Control & Expiration information is entered into the ERP system
    • Material Labelling & Lot Control: Ensure materials are properly labelled before put-away is completed. For Raw Lumber this process must be completed before the load is taken off the truck using the generated Lot#
    • Issuing of material to Job Order Kits: Referencing the Job Order from our ERP system, use the appropriate transactions to issue materials as identified by the Bill of Material. Ensure accuracy of counts and part numbers
    • General Department Support: This role will provide overall support to the entire Operations team. Specific tasks will be assigned and come through their manager to ensure there is a clear set of priorities each day. This role will also provide general levels of facility support overall

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • 3+ years experience in a Supply Chain role within a manufacturing environment
    • Experience in job shop or Engineer to Order environment
    • Experience with transacting data within ERP systems to understand their inputs/outputs
    • Experience in Shipping/Receiving or Inventory control is an asset
    • Materials management courses will be considered an asset either at the post secondary level of continuing education
    • Level 2 Excel knowledge is an asset

    Working Conditions:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Dust, Noise
    • Working in front of a computer monitor for longer periods of time and working alongside equipment on the shop floor
