GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This role will support sales representatives improve their productivity and focus on sales activities.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the Sales, Marketing and R&D Team through effective management of communication and data as well as administrative processes; manage internal, current and potential external Customer requirements to achieve strategic plan objectives, sales, and growth targets as well as Customer satisfaction.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports all internal Sales activity managing scheduling, samples, communications, and documentation
  • Manages all general inquiries and direct sales requests
  • Supports Sales & Marketing Department in preparation of Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) and participates in strategic pricing and presentation.
  • Followup and coordination on RFQ's, active quotes, sales samples, and agreements
  • Works with the Sales Dept supporting sales activities, including customer visits, meeting preparation, information gathering, trade show samples, marketing tools and presentation materials
  • Liaise between R&D lab and Sales through monitoring all open projects in the R&D Lab. Supporting the R&D supervisor with scheduling and priorities
  • Maintaining client folders, agreements, and relevant documents
  • Attend sales training and develop an understanding of the product and service offerings
  • Managing travel arrangements for Sales and Marketing Team
  • Builds and maintain positive relations with internal and external Customers
  • Maintenance of Sales Report with Sales Team as required
  • Preparation of Timelines to meet client launch objectives
  • Other duties as required by Sales, internal and new or potential external Customers.
  • Supporting Sales Department in preparing product development request forms (PDRFs)
  • Review of all sample submissions with the R&D team prior to presenting to clients.
  • Packing and shipping lab and sales samples
  • Improvement of internal/external processes with relation to flow, efficiency, and customer communication
  • Supporting Marketing and Innovation specialist with Inventory tracking, restocking and purchase of packaging and materials
  • Handling sampling submission requests from clients
  • Assisting with the development of Marketing collateral
  • Maintenance of Social Media accounts
  • Assistance with North American Trade show preparation

Education:

Completion of Post-Secondary education in Business, Sales & Marketing and/or equivalent related experience.


Experience:


  • Sales Administration/Coordinator or related experience
  • Beauty Industry knowledge an asset
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Innovation, Sales, and Marketing experience
  • Experience in effectively managing internal and external Customer demands
