We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of medications
  • Manage inventory and stock medications as needed
  • Process prescription requests and ensure accuracy of patient information
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
  • Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems
