Description
Responsible for performing both operational and tactical work to meet plant logistics deliverables.- Also responsible for ensuring material is shipped, received, stored or delivered quickly and efficiently.
- Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor.
Education/Experience:
- College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering. APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification preferred.
- 35 years of related experience. Some supply chain or related field job experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles. Analytical and problem solving skills.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing tasks to improve inbound and outbound material flow. Participating in continuous improvement projects. Investigating root causes and performing corrective action to resolve transportation issues.
- Maintaining service for industrial vehicle repair, performing all repairs and preventive maintenance for all vehicles plantwide.
- Providing tactical management for inventory levels and daily operations. Scheduling supplier deliveries by common carrier and administering returnable container programs.
- Performing tasks supporting carrier collaboration, smooth operation of milk runs, coordination of third party logistics services, plant site material logistics, and managing supermarkets and kitting processes.
- Optimizing material flow throughout the plant site. Servicing production area needs in off shift hours.
- Responsible for all activities pertaining to and including the below, as well as any other activities assigned related to the two facilities.

- ITAD (disposal & remarketing)
- BIN & SKU consolidation
- Inventory count discrepancies
- Responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and control of company inventory.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cycle counting, physical inventories, tracking, trend recognition, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensures inventory and related processes, transactions, and records are accurate and sufficient. Initiates immediate actions in out of stock situations.
- Coordinates with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods. Job Description
- The Analyst Level works on assignments that are diverse in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- May receive general instructions on new assignments, with the ability to determine best methods and procedures.
- May provide guidance to lower level personnel.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 24 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Good problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills are also required.

- 35 years within an inventory control environment
Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
