We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated
Class 3 Driver to join our team.

As a
Class 3 Driver and a member of the team, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks, F350, and F650 trucks, 40 Ft trailer/flat decks, excavators and skid steer loaders.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Promote and maintain good working relationships and collaboration with peers, clients, consultants, and suppliers
Ensure safety is a priority that is managed in every project

Class 3 Driver

Safely drive dump trucks, F350 and F650 trucks, 40 Ft trailers/flat decks, excavators, and skid steers on city roads and construction sites
Ensure all vehicle and construction safety rules and regulations are followed
Immediately report any accidents or injuries
Stop unsafe work or any work that does not meet our requirements and standards
Perform vehicle inspections daily; check and replenish fuel, oil, and other fluids levels
Ensure all vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical faults and service requirements to management
Safely and accurately load and tie down equipment on flat decks
Accurately secure walking floor trailer or rolloff bins as per company procedure and inspect in transit as required to ensure safety
Accurately and independently secure tire chains for winter driving
Complete preand postlogbooks accurately
Continuously represent the company in a professional manner
Ensure vehicles are clean and free of garbage
Fill vehicle fuel tanks at the end of your workday
Assist with manual labour, when requested
Other duties, as required

Required Experience & Skills

5+ years' experience safely driving commercial vehicles in the lower mainland
Valid Class 3 BC Drivers License with air brake endorsement
Ability to work independently and without supervision
Ability to work a variety of hours
Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs and work in a variety of different machines
Must have and use own

PPE:
Steel toed boots with green designation, gloves etc.

Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
Strong work ethic, highly motivated and enjoys a challenge
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
