Responsibilities:


  • Independently lead and execute carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Perform accurate measurements, cuts, and installations of framing components for new builds and renovations.
  • Expertise in drywall installation, including hanging, taping, and mudding.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, and priming.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of projects.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience working as a Carpenter, independently managing projects in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in framing, drywall installation, and painting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team when required.
  • Solid communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Salary:
$22.00-$32.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)


Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
