    The Opportunity:


    Active Warehousing, part of the MTE Logistix Group of Companies is looking for MATERIAL TECHNICIAN / FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our team.

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is part of the team responsible for accurate order fulfillment and effective and efficient warehouse operations.

    What will you do?
    Operate warehouse material handling equipment
    Work from an order sheet to build loads for transport
    Exhibit strict attention to detail and maintain order accuracy
    Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
    Ensure all paperwork is completed to standard
    Confirm pallets/loads are built correctly
    Able to work in ambient and refrigerated work environments
    Maintain cleanliness in the work area

    What you need to succeed

    _ Must-have _
    High School Diploma or equivalent
    2-3 years' warehouse experience including cross-docking, order picking, and stacking products
    A minimum of 1 year or more with a counter balance and reach truck forklift
    Strong and proven experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
    Strong and demonstrated safety commitment, time-management, verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized
    Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and be comfortable with repetitive lifting.

    Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience

    • 2 years experience in Oil & Gas industry.

    The starting wage is $ $26.00 per hour . This opportunity includes a full benefit package after successful completion of the probationary period.


    Position location:
    th Street, Edmonton A7 warehouse. Hours of work are 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Overtime, statutory holidays, and weekends may be required.
