We are recruiting Personal Support Workers for a home care.

Location: Etobicoke

Short Shifts: 2 to 4 hours (home care)

Responsibilities:

Personal Support Workers play a vital role in our health care system where they work closely with our clients providing personal care. Duties include:
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation, feeding etc) in personal residences or facilities
Perform assigned tasks according to the Care Plan

Experience:

At least one year of Personal Support Worker experience, however, new graduates are welcome

Qualifications:
Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate; Development Support Worker Certificate; Home Care Assistant Certificate;RN/RPN Student who with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program; Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife or Physician
Physical ability to meet the demands of the job
Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months)
Proficient verbal and written English communication skills (Additional language skills considered an asset)
Valid Police Check
