Job Description
We're looking for an experienced backend-focused developer to urgently investigate and resolve a signup issue affecting some Safari users in our production web app.
- Supabase (Auth, PostgreSQL, Storage)
- Frontend built with Bubble, connected to Supabase via plugin
The Issue
Two users recently attempted to complete profile creation using Safari.
By "complete profile," we mean:
- Updating the existing user row in Supabase with submitted form data
- Setting a completed column to TRUE
- Once completed = TRUE, the user can access the app
In both reported cases:
- Users filled out the full form
- Avatar upload succeeded (files stored in Supabase Storage bucket)
- They clicked Submit
- The profile row was never updated
- completed remained FALSE

Important Context
- Other users have successfully completed signup, including at least one Safari user.
- We recently tested the full signup flow on both Chrome and Safari and were able to complete it successfully.
- Supabase Security Advisor currently shows 94 warnings and 3 errors. We need confirmation whether any are related.
- We have attached TXT files containing relevant error logs and console output for your review.
What We Need
- Review the attached log files
- Identify the root cause
Determine whether this is:
- A Safari-specific issue (cookies, ITP, SameSite, CORS, session persistence, etc.)
- A Supabase RLS or policy issue
- A race condition or frontend execution issue
- Another underlying problem
- Provide a clear technical explanation of the issue
- Implement a proper fix
- Confirm the flow works consistently across browsers
