About The Position

The role of the Warehouse Worker is a hands-on production position. The Warehouse Worker reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Principal Responsibilities - Warehouse Worker

  • Picking orders for packing
  • Packing orders for shipping
  • An opportunity for some shipping/receiving
  • Product processing
  • Inventory control and quality assurance
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Carry out any additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of current warehouserelated work experience (preference given to those with floral industry experience)
  • One (1) or more years of forklift experience preferred
  • Experience using an ERP System preferred, or experienced in working with an Operating System
  • Must be proficient in the English language and able to communicate fluently verbally and written
  • Must have previous experience working within a highenergy, fastpaced environment
  • Must be flexible to work variant hours (maximum 8 hours per day) and must be available to work longer hours during peak seasons, weekend availability required, some extended hours will be required around Floral Holidays
  • Demonstrate positive work ethics
  • Strong organization & time management skills
Working Conditions

  • High energy, fastpaced warehouse environment with various temperature zones in the warehouse
  • Cooler: 34 ̊C, Warehouse/Packing room: 10 ̊C to 18 ̊C
  • Willing and able to work in all temperature conditions depending on production demand
  • Standing/walking most of the shift
  • Lifting boxes up to 50lbs (average 2035 lbs)
  • Moving floral carts (both empty and full)
