    Description
    Forklift Operator (Night: 01:00am - 09:00am at 23$/hour) Our client, a leading shipping company for high value goods and technology, is looking for a Forklift Operator to fill their team. The warehouse is located in Montreal, in the Lachine area.
    In support of the Team Leader, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing general warehouse activities including but not limited to picking, packing and shipping. This role will also involve the use of lifting equipment, such as a reach truck, order picker, dock loader, counterweight and dual walkie. What we offer
    • Competitive salary of $23/per hour
    • Monday to Friday: 01:00am - 09:00am
    • Location: Lachine
    • Opportunity to become permanent after 6 months.

    Who you are
    • Legally authorized to work in Canada
    • Have at least 2 years of forklift experience (counterbalance)
    • Proof of clear criminal record check (no older than three (3) months) from time of hire
    • Ability and willingness to work shift work, including evenings and weekends
    • Able to handle heavy lifting up to 75 lbs and perform proper handling techniques to avoid accidents and damage
    • Ability to work in an environment of physical activity, including bending and stretching for extended periods of time
    • Follow all company expectations to promote a safe work environment and perform all work safely in a fast-paced work environment
    • PPE must be worn at all times
    • Ability and willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions
    • Must possess a valid forklift certification
    • Must possess CSA approved, steeled toed safety boots
    Responsibilities
    • Perform general warehousing tasks such as: order preparation, unloading, loading, receiving, repacking, shipping, etc.
    • Perform tasks in accordance with established procedures
    • Work safely and follow safe driving procedures
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
    • Maintain an organized and clean environment
    • Use various software applications to proactively monitor and manage service performance
    • Perform related tasks to meet business and customer needs
