Project Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in timely delivery and management of assigned projects to ensure all projects are on budget and completed in accordance with accepted standards and policies, within specifications and within applicable regulatory, accreditation and municipal requirements; ensure latest applicable codes, bylaws and legislative requirements are met
- Provide support for projects; help manage administrative documentation that is necessary to advance the projects, including but not limited to change orders, payment requests, invoice review, end of project report and lessons learned evaluation
- Perform site visits as directed throughout the project implementation process to assist in ensuring project compliance with the scope and schedule set forth in contract documents and assist in performing Measurement and Verification activities
- Assist in ensuring the quality management plan is properly implemented and followed by all required suppliers, including consultants and contractors; follow up with contractors to ensure all quality plan deliverables are completed and all nonconformance is addressed in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing public tender documentation as assigned, including specifications, drawings, general conditions, and various appendices, in accordance with accepted standards and policies
- Assist in the development of budgets, including estimating labour, material, and construction costs
- Participate in the improvement of project management, procurement, and other processes, as related to the position
- Review designs and specifications ensuring they meet standards and overall goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively with administrative staff, and assist with supervision of engineering and other students, as assigned
- Assist in establishing and maintaining project safety culture
- Liaise with other departments to assist in analyzing problems and issues related to area of expertise
Requirements:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an offshore environment
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, E&I Engineering
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Contract length: 12 months

$50.00-$70.00 per hour
