Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and direct the site superintendent with coordinating, furnishing, and maintaining project related facilities (site office, site signage and site safety)
- Manage and direct all bids, tenders, quotes, submittals, RFI's, SI's, Contract Changes (CCO's, CO's, and CD's) and other correspondence
- Manage and direct all financials for the project, including compiling the monthly progress claims for the client
- Manage, set up, maintain and monitor budgets
- Process PO's and Subcontracts for the trades
- Update, maintain, and distribute project plans
- Manage and direct the tender process
- Track all tenders, quotes, submittals, RFI's, SI's, Contract Changes (CCO's, CO's, CD's) and other correspondence
Requirements _All requirements are based on related experience and include, but are not limited to the following:_
- Minimum of 10 years' practical experience in commercial and/or multifamily residential
- Minimum education to include a Diploma in Building Technology, Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or a Journeyman Trade Certificate
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised
- Able to focus effectively on tasks and meet multiple tight deadlines
- Able to understand specific construction orientated tasks and requirements
- Construction knowledge and/or experience working for a general contractor considered assets
- Must demonstrate an ability to work in a team and maintain effective working relationships
- Valid BC Driver's License
- Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
Salary:
$90,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
- commercial and multi-family residential: 10 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Diploma in Building Technology (preferred)
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management (preferred)
- Journeyman Trade Certificate (preferred)
