Accommodations for job applicants with disabilities are available upon request. The OUAC is seeking an Assistant Manager, Graduate and Professional Programs for its Graduate and Professional team. Job Responsibilities:
    • Provide daily direction and hands-on support to all departmental staff to ensure efficient, timely and accurate service and processing of applications.
    • Responsible for active participation in development, testing, maintenance, and documents of new procedures, services, and application functionality.
    • Responsible for day-to-day scheduling of work assignments department. Coordinate and allocate staff to meet departmental objectives.
    • Provide support to manager as required.
    Qualifications Sought:
    • Completion of an undergraduate university degree
    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in an admission setting including at least 2 years of experience at a supervisory level.
    • Intermediate knowledge of various software programs along with database and internet tools.
    • Excellent decision making, problem solving, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.
    Abilities/Skills:
    • Advanced understanding of university admissions with a proven ability to work with different university representatives including faculty and senior leaders on all aspects of application processing.
    • Ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational, coordination and leadership skills.
    • Diplomacy, tact, attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism are essential.
    Qualifications Considered an Asset:
    • Knowledge of the Ontario University sector.
    • French-language skills.
    Hours of Work:
    • Monday through Friday, 4 1⁄2 days per week.
    • Hybrid remote work arrangements may be available.
