Job description
I need a Python developer to build a desktop data acquisition and visualization application using PySide6, pyqtgraph, and numpy/scipy.
The app controls motors and a USB digitizer to scan a sensor through an acoustic field, acquire waveforms at each position, compute signal parameters, and display real-time 2D pressure maps.
I have a complete 24-page spec with architecture diagrams, a step-by-step build guide, and code templates. Development will use Claude Code as a coding assistant.
Do you have experience with PySide6/PyQt desktop apps, real-time scientific plotting, or instrument control in Python? Happy to share the spec if so.
Mandatory skills:
Python, PySide6, pyqtgraph, and numpy/scipy
