Description

Established commercial and multi-family custom millwork operation serving the local BC market is looking for an experienced
Project Coordinator to provide support to project managers by taking on managerial, administrative, and operational duties for a variety of architectural millwork and special projects.


The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager with the planning, implementation, and execution of large scale commercial and residential millwork projects to ensure that complex projects are built on time and on budget according to required specifications.


The Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the schedule and project costs, liaising with key stakeholders, assisting drafting with detailed shop drawings, tackling technical problems as they arise and maintaining the necessary documentation at all phases of the project.

To fully qualify for and be successful in this position you must have:_

  • Proven experience of 25 years in a leadership role within the cabinet or millwork industry
  • Prior experience as a journeyman cabinetmaker/millworker
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Selfmotivated, organized, and possess strong interpersonal, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and preventative maintenance programs
  • Knowledge and experience in the design, estimation, procurement, and production of custom millwork
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or related software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full understanding of architectural blueprints/drawings
  • Knowledgeable in joinery methodologies/procedures used in millwork and cabinet construction
  • Capacity to schedule/run multiple projects on time and on budget
  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively in a team setting with all levels of employees and clients to achieve results
