Test Engineer Technologist

Reports to:
Test Engineer

Position Summary
Reporting to the Test Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for daily support of production test activities.

Primary Responsibilities

Ongoing daily support for electronics assembly test systems.
Perform troubleshooting and debug devices under test.
Review test yields and perform failure analysis.
Refine test software and hardware for enhancing test yields.
Monitor product test traceability through Manufacturing Execution System.
Review and analyze test system downtime and escalate when required.
Assist in tester development for New Product Introductions including assembly and commissioning of test solution.

Qualifications and Experience

A recent graduate of Post-Secondary Electrical or Electronics Engineering (coop) based programs.
Experience with National Instruments LabView and C# programming.
Must be organized with an excellent communication acumen to navigate tasks and projects on time and with successful deployments of test approaches.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs test fixtures / magazines.
