Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview:


Under the direction of the Diagnostic Services Manager, the Cardiology Technician works as part of a multidisciplinary team, to provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis in order to promote good health and quality of life.


Functions are conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies and procedures and applicable legislation.


Experience:


  • Two (2) years' experience in performing of ECG and Holter monitoring within the last five (5) years

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):


  • Grade 12 education (MB Standards)
Other combinations of suitable education and experience may be considered


Certification/Licensure/Registration:


  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training as delineated in Prairie Mountain
  • Health Policy PPG00002 CPR Training with a BCLS Instructor Certificate
