Responsibilities:

Clearbridge Mobile is looking for a Technical Team Lead who is proficient in NodeJS, Serverless, AWS Lambda, and Azure functions, etc.

to manage one of our teams within Clearbridge Mobile engineering. As part of our company's engineering team, you will work to build software to help customers and businesses connect.

Daily Tasks:

The Technical Team Lead will help to establish development standards and processes across the Backend platform division you're on
Review, generate, implement, and document process improvements
Make good judgement and pragmatic solutions in high pressure situations
Improve product quality, security, and performance following industry standard measures and metrics
Work as part of a crossfunctional team to build APIs using NodeJS, Serverless, AWS lambda, etc.,
Work with AWS Cloud services like S3, Lambda, databases, etc.
Use the Serverless Framework to define AWS Lambda functions that communicate with the database and other thirdparty services.
Work with a crossfunctional team to design and develop new features that will be used by millions of users
Complete two weeks sprints and participate in weekly standups and sprint retrospectives.
Communicate clearly regarding architectural issues and design solutions.
Work with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and create product solutions.

Requirements:

Non Technical

2+ Years' experience in a team leadership role capacity managing 310 Developers
4+ years of demonstrated Server-Side JavaScript/TypeScript (NodeJS) experience
2+ years of demonstrated experience in architecture design for scalability, load, high availability.
Team orientation and interpersonal skills with a problemsolving attitude
Experience coaching a distributed, multifunctional team throughout their career ladder
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum) and DevOps methodology and best practices
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach in high pressure situations
Openminded and always learning

Technical

Experience building API using Microservices & Serverless Architecture.
Experience both authoring and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Experience with Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline management
Experience with code runners/asset pipeline tools (e.g., Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)
Exposure to NoSQL/KV Store and SQL Databases (Event Streaming is a bonus)

Nice To Have

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and InfrastructureasCode (IaC)
Exposure to JVM in the cloud (Java/Scala/Kotlin) is a nicetohave
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms (JSON Web Token, OAuth, SSO, OTP)
Understanding accessibility (s504/508/AODA) and security compliance
Product company experience
Computer science education or equivalent experience
