Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of garden maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Plan and schedule daily tasks, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of gardens, identify maintenance needs, and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Have experience in many aspects of garden and landscape maintenance such as garden bed weeding and prep, mulching, pruning, hedge trimming, lawn edging.
  • Oversee the implementation of garden and property maintenance services, including pruning, weeding, fertilizing, mowing, delivery of bulk supply materials and removal and recycling of green waste and household junk.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing operations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and soliciting feedback to continuously improve service quality.
  • Monitor expenses and budgets, striving to achieve costeffective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Uphold safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and garden design principles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Horticultural certification or related education is an asset.
  • MUST HAVER THE ABILITY TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
