What you will do
- You participate in various operational risk and compliance related projects;
- You participate in verifying compliance with client investment policies through rigorous monitoring of clients' portfolios;
- You participate in the implementation and revision of internal Addenda policies;
- You participate in the review of business development and marketing material to maintain compliance before any information is published;
- You participate in due diligence for thirdparty service providers;
- You participate in the review of client documentation.
What you will Need to Succeed
Experience and Knowledge
- You have a bachelor's degree in administration, finance, accounting, law or any other discipline or combination of disciplines deemed pertinent;
- You have two (2) to four (4) years of experience in compliance related to the functions of the job;
- You have experience in the securities, financial, institutional, private wealth, banking or investment sectors;
- You have an understanding of the portfolio management sector and its operations;
- You have experience interacting with external parties, regulators or auditors;
- You have experience with compliance systems used by Portfolio Management firm to monitor investment policy constraints;
- You have skills in modelling and with technological tools (Power BI, SSRS, VBA);
- You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; notably of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- You can complete mandates within tight deadlines, and you are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- You show initiative and creativity and demonstrate autonomy and ease when working in teams and with people of different hierarchical levels;
- You demonstrate rigour and organization, and you have an analytical and synthetic mindset;
- You demonstrate tactfulness and diplomacy while still communicating your message clearly;
- You have strong ethical principles and a strong comprehension of the ethics of financial markets;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and in English (English is required to accomplish daily tasks).
