A Day In The Life
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing the Facilities/Office Services projects to meet time, budget, and scope expectations
- Translate the Facilities/Office Services projects into tangible deliverables and roadmap
- Successfully manage several projects simultaneously and work effectively with crossfunctional project teams
- Work with key stakeholders to drive all aspects of project delivery including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, estimating project duration, effort, and cost, managing project budget, creating detailed project plans, schedules and managing change requests and reporting
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Motivate project team members for successful delivery of project objectives
- Maintain regular communications with team and business stakeholders to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties, which may impede progress or compromise achievement of project's objectives
- Maintain a detailed status, activities and issues reports on each project to present to Senior Leadership and major project stakeholders
- Proactively identify, quantify, mitigate, and manage risks
- Predict resources needed, both internal and external, to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan using methodologies like RACI and GANTT charts to determine project milestones, roles and responsibilities
- Measure project performance at the completion of the project to identify areas for improvement for future reference
- Work with the Senior Director, to manage the Office Services Budget
- Weekly update of office space planning maps
- Supports Senior Director and Manager on Office Services daily tasks
- Help prepare Office Services reporting
- Work on projects and other duties as assigned.
Must Haves
- University education or equivalent postsecondary
- 35v+ years of project manager experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification nice to have
