The Opportunity


General Bank of Canada is looking for a permanent, fulltime Business Development Administrator to join the organization as a key contributor to the Bank's Business Development team.

Consistent with the Bank's growth trajectory, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the future bank with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.

The Business Development Administrator will primarily be responsible for the onboarding and maintenance of dealerships.

With an upcoming expansion into the East Coast, this role will be responsible for supporting the expansion and working with the new dealers.


Responsibilities

  • Process new dealer onboarding including documentation validation and data entry.
  • Onboard new dealers through a holistic onboarding approach.
  • Create and maintain client profiles in various systems and platforms.
  • Coordinate onboarding training between new dealers and territory managers.
  • Provide marketing resources to new dealers.
  • Review and update relevant data and reporting with maintenance of current dealers by reviewing and updating relevant data and reporting accordingly.
  • Maintain and track ongoing changes to dealer partner profiles including documentation validation.
  • Support risk management and fraud activities such as reporting, monitoring and corporate structure review.
  • Support Territory Managers with business development including presentation packages and promotion materials.
  • Create and maintain reports to support business development and growth.
  • Review dealer performance and make recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Review and recommend prospective new dealer partnerships. Support the Business Development team as required.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum of two years of experience working in an administrative support or related role.
  • Proficient in MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Excel skills include but are not limited to being able to create pivot tables and charts and using Excel formulas for analytical review, creating and maintaining reports and trackers.
  • Experience in the financial services or business development industry or a related field is an asset.
  • High school diploma required, combined with some postsecondary education in the fields of administration/business, finance, or related work experience is an asset.
This position is in Edmonton at our main office.

The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $72,000.
