KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and document leasing inquiries from potential tenants, offering comprehensive property information.
  • Lease units to meet monthly targets, aiming for optimal property occupancy rates.
  • Assess the requirements of potential customers to tailor leasing solutions.
  • Present properties and amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
  • Coordinate and conduct unit showings, delivering information in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
  • Serve as a professional representative of Centron, upholding the company's image.
  • Negotiate leasing terms and gather necessary information for deal completion.
  • Ensure all paperwork and movein procedures are accurately completed.
  • Conduct periodic property inspections to ensure maintenance standards, cleanliness, and report on vacant suite conditions.
  • Generate vacancy reports and maintain records of shown or tobeshown units.
  • Maintain cleanliness of show suites and arrange cleaning as needed.
  • Adhere to a 40hour work week, including mandatory shifts on the first and last day of each month, with two weekend shifts per month.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Leasing Office.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as delegated by the Property Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity or proficiency with Yardi software is advantageous.
  • Capable of effectively engaging with diverse individuals and personalities.
  • Exemplary planning and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers.
  • Skilled in emphasizing positives and overcoming challenges in various situations.
  • Flexibility to work any five consecutive days of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays, month ends, and beginnings.
  • Efficient management of time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Successful completion of a security clearance is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act is beneficial; training will be provided.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.

  • 8 hour shifts with 2 weekend shifts per month.

Experience:

Apartment Leasing: 2 years (preferred)

  • Sales: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

  • AB class 5 driver's license (required)
