Description

Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant/hotel
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to callers
Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate as necessary
Provide excellent customer service and create a positive dining/hospitality experience for guests

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
Excellent guest service skills, including the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
Professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
