We are currently looking for a BAR MANAGER to join our dynamic team at COAST Restaurant on Alberni Street. CATCH. COOK. EAT. A true west coast dining experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the bar within the policies and procedures of Glowbal Restaurant Group
Respond to customer service needs
Role model leadership behaviors in the restaurant
Recognize and motivate members of the team
Coach and train the team towards individual success and operational excellence
Ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of relevant management experience
4+ years of relevant bartending experience
Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service an asset
Technically competent with industry related forms of computer and electronic commerce
Strong problemsolving abilities, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to set priorities for self and others
Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals
