Your responsibilities:


  • Lead Hospital Operations and Contract Strategy
  • Contributes analytics and insights to support development and execution of Hospital Strategy and Bid Strategy in collaboration with Senior Manager, Hospital Operations & Specialized Sales.
  • Responsible for the endtoend proposal writing and submission process and collaborates with internal stakeholders for contributions.
  • Gathers all technical and financial information, develops schedules to meet timelines, coordinates internal meetings, and presentations for alignment.
  • Creates briefs and presentations to communicate necessary details to internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developing financials for all proposals and contracts.
  • Leads completion and implementation of contract negotiation for hospital, third party vendors and healthcare institutions.
  • Responsible for administration of contracts assuring compliance, contract deliverables, and meeting all contractual obligations.
  • Continually assess opportunity, develops business plans and executes strategies.
  • Manages and coordinates conversion of competitor supplied hospitals transitioning to MJN products.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders on brand strategies identifying, communicating and developing business plans.
  • Continually assess our competitive position within the hospital and healthcare landscape and provides insights to marketing and hospital operations for development of strategic direction.
  • Builds and Maintains Relationships with Provincial Formularies to Support Canadian Business
  • Drive formulary processes to ensure timely filing, registration, approval, and/or maintenance of product registration in accordance with requirements and with business objectives.
  • Leads formulary pricing strategy and aligns with internal stakeholders to establish price structure and execution.
  • Stays abreast of, interprets, and communicates Formulary requirements and changes to operations, business and marketing functions and applies these changes as necessary to facilitate business plans and longterm growth.
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with program administrators using strong interpersonal skills, knowledge and diplomacy to drive performance.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and third party to develop comprehensive formulary submissions and leads the submission process.
  • Builds and maintains relationship with relevant provincial programs to ensure MJN interests are effectively represented.
  • Maintains effective relationships with 3rd party providers ensuring that business expectations are achieved
  • Account Plan Management
  • Works closely with the National Hospital Accounts Manager to develop, implement and monitor the CRM Hospital Account Plan related to contract timing.
  • Maintenance of contract details and bid strategy in CRM Hospital Account Plan.

The experience we're looking for:


  • 23 years proposal submission experience from end to end and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in the redaction of Request for Proposal, contracts and knowledge of Group Purchasing organization.
  • Experience with Government formulary programs.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Superior collaborative teamwork skills and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience working within strict regulatory, compliance & legal environments.
  • Experience in demonstrated good judgment, innovation, and creativity in improving work processes.
  • Aptitude for financial management, sales analysis and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated time management and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated to accomplish goals and objectives in a proactive manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (Verbal and writing) in French and English is required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail while completing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, innovation, and creativity in improving work processes.
  • Demonstrates partnership and works in a collaborative, positive team environment and builds strong working
- relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
