Position Overview
- Completion of senior secondary school or its equivalent.
- Proficient in intermediate Word and intermediate Excel, as demonstrated through testing (70% pass rate required).
- Typing speed of 50 net words per minute, as demonstrated through testing.
- Minimum of three years' experience in the last five years working in a records management position using PRIME, CPIC, MNI and JUSTIN.
- Minimum of one year's previous experience supervising and training staff.
- Successful completion of PRIME Records Management System course and the online CPIC course through Agora.
- Ability to obtain and maintain RCMP Reliability Security Clearance (please note, if you are unable to obtain or maintain a RCMP Reliability Security Clearance, your employment with the City will be terminated).
- Ability to be designated as a "Special Provincial Constable" under the British Columbia Police Act.
For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check.
