FLINT is seeking a Plant Operator with 3+ years of experience working in oil and gas facilities.

What would you be doing?

Monitor and control plant and field processing conditions utilizing SCADA control systems.
Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant process and control room areas.
Responsible for minor maintenance and the coordination of other maintenance activities.
Understands and performs safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lockout, emergency response, follow safe work procedures.
Assist in providing a safe work environment for Maintenance and maintaining surface equipment.
Work and communicate directly with other operators.

Does

this sound like you?

Extensive knowledge of all facets of Operations.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Third or Fourth Power Engineering certifcation.
Valid safety tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, WHMIS, Confined Space
Rescue, Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
Able to provide a clean Drivers Abstract.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
