FLINT is seeking a Plant Operator with 3+ years of experience working in oil and gas facilities.

_ This position is expected to start in mid-June and it is expected continue on for up to a year. _

What would you be doing?

  • Monitor and control plant and field processing conditions utilizing SCADA control systems.
  • Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant process and control room areas.
  • Responsible for minor maintenance and the coordination of other maintenance activities.
  • Understands and performs safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lockout, emergency response, follow safe work procedures.
  • Assist in providing a safe work environment for Maintenance and maintaining surface equipment.
  • Work and communicate directly with other operators.

Does

this sound like you?

  • Extensive knowledge of all facets of Operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Third or Fourth Power Engineering certifcation.
  • Valid safety tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, WHMIS, Confined Space
  • Rescue, Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • Able to provide a clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
