The Opportunity - _FLY IN/FLY OUT, CAMP PROVIDED - Tool Crib Attendant_**
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of tools, inspect tools and equipment to ensure items are in good working order.
  • Maintain work area and yard area in an organized manner
  • Maintain clear records of tools and equipment usage; Use and maintain the designated information and tracking system.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in a safe working condition, source, and control shop supplies.
  • Inspect & diagnose failures on various electrical and hydraulic and mechanical tool crib components
  • Assemble and install hydraulic pneumatic fittings/hosing/tubing
  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair in house equipment as required
  • Conduct Small tool repair or arrange to send to third party as required
  • Engage with the Maintenance Coordinator with upcoming work schedules understanding tooling requirements and ensuring readiness.
  • Maintain, dispense, and retrieve all tools from tool crib
  • Provide comprehensive service for tool inspection, repair, and certifications for both heavy duty and light duty industrial tools.
  • Oversee the use of tools in the crib and ensure the tools are properly signed for and returned.
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
Position is at our Kearl Lake facility., located North of Fort McMurray. The work schedule is 14 days on, 14 days off, 11.5 hours per day. Work is conducted under an Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) -_ formerly known as a Compressed Work Week_. This is a Fly In/Fly Out opportunity with camp/accommodations provided. Airfare travel hubs are Edmonton & Calgary, with direct flights to site. Workers are responsible for travel to/from the travel hubs and their residence.


Qualifications

  • 4th Year Registered Apprentice or Journeyman Electrical or Millwright certificate preferred
  • A valid Alberta class 5 driver's license is MANDATORY
  • Must have a valid OSSA, CSTS09 and/or BSO or CSO certification
  • Computer proficiency in Windows, MS Office
  • Word, Excel, Outlook
  • A demonstrated commitment to working safely
  • Comfortable working with hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Schematic and drawing review experience
  • Basic mathematical skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own or in a team environment
  • Must meet site Covid 19 vaccination requirements
  • First Aid Certification preferred
