Description

We are a warm and welcoming pharmacy, looking to expand our team with a part-time or full-time pharmacy assistant/technician.

Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy is a caring and supportive environment where open communication, respect, and teamwork is strongly encouraged. Previous experience in a community pharmacy is an asset, however further training will be provided on-site.

Start date:
As soon as possible

Responsibilities & Duties:

Assisting pharmacists in filling and dispensing medications using WinRX.
Inventory management (drug and overthecounter items).
Coordinating with Pharmacare and thirdparty insurers to organize drug coverage.
Blister packing for daily, weekly, and monthly prescriptions.
Administrative duties such as retrieving and refilling prescriptions, processing transactions, and answering phones.

Qualifications:

12 years of relevant experience working in a community pharmacy as an assistant/technician.
Extensive knowledge of medication names.
Good time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Strong ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
A friendly, caring, and inclusive attitude.
