    Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Yard Clerk at our Home Centre location in Big River, SK.

    Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, responsibilities for this position include the following:

    •Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach

    •Provide outstanding guest service in the yard and on the radio, load and unload merchandise, and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard

    •Fill orders, receive freight, deliver and unload product, perform inventory counts

    •Build positive relationships with the yard crew, desk, and leadership team

    •Perform customer carry out service and product assembly as assigned

    •Complete the required paperwork based on department standards

    •Follow company policies and procedures

    •Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise

    •Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the Home Centre

    Who you are:
    You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:

    •You have grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset

    •You have experience and knowledge in the building materials industry; estimating and construction experience is an asset

    •You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and are proud of the work that you do

    •You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision

    •You have a valid class 5 driver's license and must be willing to obtain forklift certification

    •You can fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour is required; continuous heavy lifting is required

    •You have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
