Job Summary


The Realty General Operations Support role is the primary contact for all operation and training tasks related to realty business and the liaison between Sales, Servicing, Broking and Underwriting functions.

This role is responsible for overseeing all Realty needs and the implementation of changes, new initiatives, and corrective measures with the support of key stakeholders from different departments including Sales and Underwriting.


Essential Job Functions:


Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Legislation & Compliance
  • Staying informed on provincial legislation and guidelines and implementing changes as required (updating workflows, creating/updating documents and correspondence, communicating and training staff)
  • Encompass all Realty business written throughout the organization and not just within Real Estate department
  • Coordinate with Commercial Operations team as needed
  • Compliance auditing on all Real Estate business
  • Epic workflows & training
  • First line of support for staff on issues, questions etc., including support for Commercial Client staff on Real Estate workflows
  • Facilitating any transferred business in Realty department (Epic coding, reporting)
  • Audit support
  • Production/Transactions (producer commissions, transferred business etc.)
  • Working with Underwriting team on file audits to implement updates to workflows or additional training if needed
  • Oversight and support of the account renewal process
  • New staff onboarding & training for Sales & Service staff


  • Documents

  • Working with the Operations team on any document updates required (Sales collateral, Epic documents.)
  • Liaison between Sales/Service and Underwriting
  • Working with Commercial teams across Acera to ensure workflows are being followed and optimized
  • Updating Epic coding/configuration as needed


  • Employee Intranet

  • Managing database with all documents, sales and risk management bulletins
  • Project work including but not limited to:


  • Existing system integrations

  • updating workflows, training staff, and assisting with Acera-wide Realty integration (any changes in workflows, processes etc.)
  • New system implementations workflow development, handoffs between business units, data integrity, training

Qualifications and Soft Skill Requirements:


  • Selfstarter, problem solver, change champion, exceptional communicator, good with people
  • Some organizational knowledge and willingness to learn various roles and functions within the Realty team
  • In the office on regular basis as a resource to staff
