Description
Belcan is currently hiring for a warehouse supervisor for our client in Ontario. It is a permanent, full time position for the afternoon shift. You will oversee all operations in the warehouse


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supervise an indirect staff of up to 15 individuals.
  • Manage a direct team of 56 responsible for line moves.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures and processes are complied with for all activities and be the first point of contact for all EHSA items that arise during the shift.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists hourly staff in solving work problems.
  • When required assist with receiving: Validate material receipt and perform inbound putaway.
  • Leads and participates in establishing train move schedules with Production and Supply Chain to ensure alignment with daily and/or weekly objective.
  • When required support picking and kitting of material to meet production demands.
  • Participate in inventory counting and validation (cycle count or wall to wall) when assigned.
  • Provide daily updates on shift activities and ensure daily team goals are met.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required/ Post Secondary Education/Diploma preferred


EXPERIENCE:

  • 23 years supervision experience
  • Counterbalance and Reach Truck Certification
  • Forklift License Permit
  • Overhead Crane certified experience moving/operating an crane
  • Excellent computer skills and worked with ERP systems
  • IR scanner experience
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 40lbs and work on foot. May be required to stand for a few hours.
  • Familiar Workplace Health and Safety Standards

Salary:
$31,000.00-$132,342.52 per year


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
