Program Manager - Toronto, Canada - Society of Sharing

SOS is a community-focused, values-based, and collaborative organization that strives for excellence and accountability.The Program Manager will manage and motivate a team of staff delivering various agency programs and services to the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all SOS programs and services, including the daytoday operation and administration.
- Develop and implement new programs and services, including the redesign of existing services, consistent with community needs and funder requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate programs and services to ensure consistency with program plans and criteria established by funding sources and the mission and goals of the organization.
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and effective performance management for all program staff according to best practices
- Work closely with the Recruitment and Training Specialist and the Program Coordinator in the development and administration of the programs
- Collaborate and network with community partners on various projects and initiatives as required, and act as a liaison with internal and external parties
- Compile, maintain, and report on the monthly, quarterly, and annual program statistics including collection of tracking data, statistical analysis of data and client satisfaction surveys for program evaluations
- Identify and solve problems that impact the management, direction, and outcomes of the program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postsecondary degree in Social Work, Psychology and/or other healthrelated field
- 35 years of progressive program management experience in a social service setting is a requirement
- Extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, in particular seniors
- Demonstrated experience of managing staff with emphasis on coaching and mentoring
- Strong knowledge of local community and community based nonprofit organizations
- Knowledge computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Teams) and Zoom
- Strong communication and presentation skills, relationship management, facilitation, negotiation, and problemsolving skills.
- Solutions oriented with a customer service background and the ability to proactively identify and manage challenges.
- Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Selfstarter, able to achieve results with little supervision and work independently.
- High level of professionalism and drive, with an enthusiasm and passion for delivering results.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records check.
- Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and relevant insurance.

Inner-City Volunteers provides training to all employees, volunteers, agents and/or contractors who deal with the public or other third parties that act on behalf of the agency.
Salary:
$60,000.00 per year
