As Accounting Technician, You Will:


  • Provide ongoing assistance to Accounts Receivable and Payable, and to the Financial Controller
  • Record accounts receivable and payable transactions
  • Prepare general reconciliations (i.e. credit cards)
  • Intercompany account maintenance
  • Assist in the production of invoices, statements, and financial reports
  • Prepare detailed account reconciliations, including charges, adjustments, payments
  • Manage workflow with multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Assist with Administrative duties, including file maintenance, data entry, and documentation
  • Ensure adequate documentation is collected and maintained
  • Other duties as assigned/required

Who You Are:


  • A love for working in a fastpaced environment, with the ability to balance different priorities and duties
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong communication skills

What You Bring:


  • Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience an asset
  • Experience working with accounting software such as Sage is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, administrative procedures, and regulations
  • Experience working with Microsoft software including Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and produce high quality work
  • Ability to work as an individual and as a part a team
