    Iris's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions is looking to hire a Sr Java Developer for a long-term contract opportunity.

    Our client is one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses, and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management, and other financial and risk-management products and services.

    It is a leading provider of global corporate and investment banking service.

    Sr Java DeveloperLocation:
    Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

    Duration:

    Long TermBasic Qualifications 10+ years of experience in coding, application development using Java, Springboot, Spring framework, REST Services, JavaScript, Apache, FIX.7+ years of experience in Relational Database development in SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or equivalent7+ years of experience in integrating with high speed messaging systems like Solace, Kafka Proven capabilities in effective management of tasks, multi-tasking, delivery focus and hard workingAbility to meet application needs without sacrificing deadlines and qualityAbility to collaborate and work effectively within a global teamComputer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.

    Experience of


    AWS :
    EC2, Lambda, Glue, RDS S3Experience with Kafka, Solace, AMPSExperience with Shell scripting and Python a strong plus.
    Cross Capital Markets and/or Investment Banking experience is a strong plus.
