Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Work as part of the risk and support team to monitor all trading activity for all related firms and traders
- Help traders with any issues they are having (platform, market data, execution/order, etc)
- Examine the risk of many different trading strategies being utilized and discuss internal risk tolerances and parameters with the rest of the team and management.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the rest of the team and management to explore new, innovative ideas to increase trader and firm profitability
- Other tasks that will be assigned based on the staff members' interests and strengths.
- Have experience working with the US Equities and Options markets, preferably on a trade desk or proprietary trading environment
- Have experience and knowledge of risk management strategies
- University degree in finance or related, or equivalent experience
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Have strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Work well under pressure and be able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market
- Be fluent in English.
- Fluency in Russian, Mandarin or other languages an asset.
Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
