Description
Position Objectives:
The principle objective of this position is to provide level 3 support for any End User Desktop related activities which include engineering and support services for multiple technologies for Microsoft products and other vendors' products residing on users' desktops.
The individual will provide support and coverage for day-to-day package testing and release process in SCCM server, also on the automation of tasks using PowerShell scripts.
This position requires day-to-day support activities, administration and projects associated the entire end user workstation platform based on Microsoft Windows 10.
Position Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years Engineering and Production expertise with Microsoft Windows clients (Windows 7 and 10 products)
- Expert knowledge of SCCM 2012 and 2016 for packaging distribution and client management
- Expert knowledge of PowerShell and shell scripting
- Expert knowledge of packaging standards (MSI)
- Good knowledge of ITIL methodology
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory related to user, group and computer management
- Good knowledge of working based on chronograms and milestones deliveries
- Good knowledge of VMWare and Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop technologies is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Service oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player.
- Will be required oncall for escalations 24*7
Position Responsibilities:
- Act as the main person on the Release Control Management team for Americas helping testing and release in production approximately 150 apps per month
- Create and execute scripts based on shell, Powershell and VBS scripts for remediation actions on deployments and clean up tasks
- Provide 3rd level support for Service Desk and Proximity analysts
- Strictly abide and follow the company policy and procedures pertaining to change and incident management
- Contribute to ensuring that all systems are deployed consistent with group standards and best practices
- Participate of the team rotation oncall support for escalations 24*7 once every 4 to 5 weeks

Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
$400.00-$420.00 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
