The Pacific National Exhibition is an iconic institution in BC seeking a Communications & Community Relations Specialist to support their communications strategy.

The successful candidate will play a key role across the entire organization by supporting content creation for various audience groups including guests, clients, suppliers partners and employees.

This position will centralize messaging across these groups while working with key internal stakeholders to ensure consistency throughout all communication channels

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with community groups managing community programs like donations events recognition developing social media platforms creating content for presentations websites corporate storytelling writing designing producing annual report analyzing data establishing performance metrics evaluating organizational performance providing feedback modifying processes ensuring cohesive voice messaging internally externally handling media relations government relations planning communicating updates on behalf of departments coordinating neighborhood initiatives projects sound mitigations cleanliness public safety traffic congestion etc

Qualifications
