Key Responsibilities

  • Offer intervention to children with various speech & language delays and disorders, such as receptive & expressive language, articulation, and phonology.
  • Operate under the direct supervision of a speechlanguage pathologist.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with the standards set by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Engage in caregiver education and offer practice materials for home settings.

Requirements:


  • Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant.
  • Active membership with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC).
  • Experience or keen interest in working with the autistic population.
  • Familiarity with neurodiversity affirming practices and Natural Language Acquisition.
  • Must be selfmotivated, organized, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Multilingual proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Must carry professional liability insurance.
  • Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
