Key Responsibilities
- Offer intervention to children with various speech & language delays and disorders, such as receptive & expressive language, articulation, and phonology.
- Operate under the direct supervision of a speechlanguage pathologist.
- Maintain accurate records in line with the standards set by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Engage in caregiver education and offer practice materials for home settings.
Requirements:
- Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant.
- Active membership with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC).
- Experience or keen interest in working with the autistic population.
- Familiarity with neurodiversity affirming practices and Natural Language Acquisition.
- Must be selfmotivated, organized, and possess strong communication skills.
- Multilingual proficiency is an added advantage.
- Must carry professional liability insurance.
- Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
