Embrace your true self by unfolding your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division - Reporting to the Senior Controller and will be part of the Cascades Recovery+ division, accounting team. This position will be responsible for performing Income Statement detailed analysis, specifically related to Gross Margin functions for the assigned region. She will work closely with other members of the Company's management team; will be involved in systems controls, preparation of monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and a variety of analytical study work around improving the Divisions; efficiencies, reporting accuracy and profitability.
- Assist in reconciliation and analysis of large amounts of data using advance level Excel skills.
- Performing monthly income statement variance analysis, more specifically related to Gross Margin.
- Proactive monthly validation of Sales, Cost of Sales & Inventory.
- Material Volume validation
- Pricing verification and validation
- Participation in Business Cases evaluation
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against Plan and forecast.
- Business Partner with Procurement department
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementation of new processes.
- Participated in High Management presentation update.
- Participated in annual Budget

- University Degree or College Diploma designation required. Currently enrolled in the CPA program will be beneficial.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in finance.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS sufficient to evaluate financial reports.
- Knowledge of computers databases Advance Excel (SAP, Elemos, Khalix, PowerPoint will be an asset)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet the deadlines.
- Excellent English & French oral and written skills, able to communicate clear at all levels of organization.
- Ability to fit in a Dynamic environment and be a team player.
- Excellent problemsolving skills, know when to ask for help when required.
