• Minimum one year experience as pharmacy technician in Canada

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
• Prepare and package medications for distribution
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Enter patient information and prescriptions into the computer system
• Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
