Apex Oilfield Services is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service, and support to the energy industry.

As the largest, privately owned wellsite accommodations and solids control providers in Western Canada, we are currently looking to fill a
Wellsite Service Technician position at our Whitecourt Branch.

Responsibilities Include:

Servicing and maintaining wellsite units with a high standard of quality and safety
Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing any items found to be deficient
Shipping of wellsite trailers in a ready to work condition
Receiving wellsite trailers from the field into the yard
Communicating any damage to dispatch
Providing relevant information to the dispatch team
Draining wellsite's and ensuring cleanliness satisfactory
Assisting with maintaining the proper parts inventory (via: maintenance sheets, work orders, P.O.#'s, inventory sheets)
Responsible for appropriate truck maintenance and maintaining sufficient inventory in truck
Works well with others in a team environment
Ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and changing priorities
Mechanical aptitude
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Willingness to train, learn and acquire new skills
Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, satellites, and/or electronics
Oilfield service experience is considered an asset
Desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job and work in a drug and alcoholfree environment
A clean Class 5 License
