Project Administrator

Responsibilities:


  • Maintain the project task schedules for all active design projects in the assigned Engineering groups with the guidance and direction of Engineering Management
  • Obtain updates from tasked engineers on status of tasks and update task status and schedules accordingly
  • Update and maintain manpower loading estimates based on assignments and forecasts provided by Engineering Management
  • Early notification to both Manufacturing Support Engineering and Liaison Engineering of snags or issues that they will need to engage on.
  • Interact with Project Management and ensure that the detailed task schedules in engineering align with the required project milestones.
  • Identify when start or completion dates of tasks from the group schedule have been exceeded and highlight this in a timely manner to appropriate Engineering management/supervisors
  • Track hour consumption vs project budget
  • Provide minutes of Engineering Design Reviews and/or formal meetings and input to weekly group meetings (schedule status, schedule risks, delays, etc.)
  • Obtain and organize all project documentation
  • Assist in daytoday tasks

Skills:


  • English communication (oral and written)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • MS Project

Position is located in Ottawa, Canada.


Pay:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
