Maxwell Fabrics is a fashion-forward, Vancouver-based têxtile firm distributing decorative fabrics to the interior design trade in North America.

We are looking for someone to support our sales and product development team to create visually compelling social media content (graphics, images and videos) and execute marketing campaigns to build brand awareness that will translate directly to increased sales.

Bring your creativity, photography and graphics skills to support our three-times yearly product launches as we roll out new fabric designs to our customer base.

Areas of focus in your new role at Maxwell Fabrics will include:

• Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, design, and product development, to ensure alignment with marketing objectives.
• Executing website content updates and liaising with external web development company.
• Taking highquality photographs and videos of products for use in marketing materials and social media.
• Creating content, posting regularly on and monitoring social media channels and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
• Managing print materials during production, proofing and ontime delivery, including liaising with suppliers on specifications, timelines and invoicing.
• Staying uptodate with the latest marketing trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Acting as a point of contact for our sales team for any marketing support they may need.

As the newest member of our Maxwell team, you will show off your:

• Ability to work across multiple social media platforms and channels
• Creative solution problem solving skills, independently and with your team
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Proficiency in photography and photo editing
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Eagerness to develop new skills
• Responsiveness to feedback from your team and manager
• Curiosity and ability to continually learn about our fabrics and product in order to share your knowledge with our customers

This is a full-time contract position to cover a staff leave on our team. This position is in-office at our studio in Marpole/South Vancouver area (close to Marine Drive Skytrain station).


Salary:
$24.00-$29.00 per hour
